Contrary to previous speculation Arsenal have issued a statement saying they have appealed against Freddie Ljungberg's red card in the North London derby on Sunday. See this AFCi page. Seems pretty unlikely to be successful though, given that these things always depend on the ref. Having allegedly changed his story once it would seem unlikely he'd want to change it again. |
