Fredrick Ljungberg's appeal against the sending off in the
match at Tottenham
on 7th November has been rejected. Clearly the FA
felt that in shoving Justin Edinburgh in the chest in
such a way as to cause great pain to his face, Freddie
has committed an act of witchcraft which had to be punished.
He was also warned in writing for the v-sign he made as he
left the pitch.
Freddie gets a 3 match ban starting with this Sunday's game
at home to Derby, followed by the Worthington Cup tie in Middlesbrough and the away game at Leicester on 4th December.
