Arsenal's French utility player Gilles Grimandi has turned out to be an unlikely hero in the December games. 'Hero' because of his three goals in three games, 'unlikely' because he's struggled for regular first-team football for over two years. "Sometimes I felt very low," Grimandi tells Sky Sports Online. "...I went to see the manager about it. I told him exactly how I felt and he said he understood but that the club needed me. The most important thing now for me is to play - I don't want to sit around. For me, playing is everything." More quotes and a fuller story at Soccernet.
