| Wenger want Kanu against Man Utd |

After successfully convincing the Nigerian FA to let Kanu play against Leicester in the FA Cup, manager Arsène Wenger now want the striker released from international duty in the middle of the African Nations' Cup! According to Sky Sports, Wenger want Kanu to face Manchester United in the Premier League between the fixtures in Nigeria. Wenger has a striker shortage before the game at Old Trafford January 25, with Davor Suker suspended and Dennis Bergkamp injured. The Nigerian team, who have Kanu as their captain, have their opening African Nations game on January 23 - but then do not play again until the 28th.
