Opta Soccer have some quotes
from Freddie Ljungberg regarding the injury picked up
early in the first half of our romp over Sunderland
on Saturday, when an opponent trod on his leg after Freddie
had slid in for a tackle.
It sounds nastier than we thought: blue, swollen, open wounds,
yuk.
Fred's got the feeling back in his leg and is
optimistic that he'll be back in "weeks rather than
months", but that makes it sound very unlikely that
he'll be available for the Man Utd game next Monday
(when he could even have been drafted in as a striker)
