The press seem to have cottoned on to the fact that
Chris Wreh is back at Arsenal having returned from his
loan spell at Birmignham (see here), and now reckon he could
be the answer to our lack of strikers for the Man Utd game on Monday.
Well, we knew he was here. He's been playing for the reserves
(see our reserves page)
and has scored 5 goals for them this season, all before the loan
(since which, to be fair, the reserves have only played once).
At Birmingham he scored once in 6 games.
But Graham Barrett has scored 7, including 4 in the last 4
reserve games, and has been given a run out in the last few games. If Arsène Wenger has been considering Wreh
rather than Barrett, why hasn't Wreh been on the bench for the first team?
Anyway if Ljungberg's fit, don't bet against him taking the Bergkamp role behind Henry. It's where he plays for Sweden
(and sometimes for us, when he's supposed to be on the wing).
