In a statement issued through Agence France Presse, Kanu has voiced his support for Nigerian coach Jo Bonfrere, despite the Super Eagles loss to Cameroon in the African Nations Cup final. Two things of note...
- You could argue that having got his team into a penalty shootout at the end of the final match, it's hardly Bonfrere's fault if certain players (eg. Kanu) miss from 12 yards.
- More importantly - someone knows where Kanu is!!
