It has emerged that Tony Adams had 2 wisdom teeth taken out in France last week, and has been told that it could solve
his long-running injury problems.
Fitness guru Tibruce Darrou is one of "a number of individuals" who advocate a theory that muscle spasms around problem teeth can affect the back, posture, and balance.
Hearts midfielder Colin Cameron claims to have already benefited from it, "I saw a doctor who asked me to shut my eyes and walk 40 steps on the spot and when I opened my eyes I had moved two yards forward and had turned 90 degrees. When I gripped some cardboard between my teeth and did it again I just stayed on the spot. It helps my posture and I genuinely think its saved my career." Cameron now plays with a brace in his mouth,
and is careful not to shut his eyes without first inserting a
piece of cardboard.
Arsenal have said that Adams teeth were taken out because of
infection, but admit that they've heard about the muscle
spasm theory.
