Freddie Ljungberg's rib problem, first diagnosed weeks ago,
turns out to be as bad as first thought. They said it was
a break, but he played through the pain for a couple of
matches thinking it was just bruising.
But now tests have confirmed that the bones are cracked,
and he's facing a struggle to get fit for Euro2000 in the
summer, never mind featuring again for Arsenal this season.
