Last season's Arsenal top scorer Thierry Henry is to renegotiate his contract at Arsenal in a bid to become the best-paid player at the club, according to the Daily Star. Henry is understood to be paid GBP 20,000 a week, which is around a third less than Dutch striker Dennis Bergkamp, the club's top earner. Henry's agent, Jerome Anderson, has scheduled talks with vice-chairman David Dein once the season gets underway. Inter Milan have already inquired about the French international striker, the paper reports. |
