Arsenal and England captain Tony Adams may only play one game a week the coming season, Soccernet writes. For the past two seasons, the key defender has been injured for several lengthy spells, and manager Arsène Wenger is anxious to avoid further problems next season. Wenger is likely to restrict Adams to one appearance per week, or possibly two if Adams himself feels he can cope, or if the occasion is important enough. Adams starts his eighteenth (!) season for the Arsenal first team, and if the club and their captain can stick to their plan, he should be able to fulfil the ambition of captaining England in the 2002 World Cup.
