If reports on the TV station formerly known as Sky Sports News are to be believed... Tony Adams will not be fit for Wednesday's England game in Finland - thanks to a back injury picked up at Wembley on Saturday. Sky reckon he didn't travel to Helsinki with the rest of Sgt Wilko's army this morning.
The England captaincy therefore passes to Sol Campbell... no, he's injured. David Beckham... no, he's injured too. Does that leave the way open for David Seaman or Martin Keown to captain his country? |
