Hardly a surprise, of course - but Patrick Vieira is to face a misconduct charge following the two incidents in the televised Leeds game from last week. You remember - the headbutt to Eirik Bakke, and the studs-to-the-chin incident with Dacourt.
'Three members of the Video Advisory Panel independently reviewed two incidents from the Premier League fixture between Leeds United and Arsenal at Elland Road on Sunday, 26 November,' says the FA statement. 'The referee has confirmed that he saw neither incident during the course of the game. Patrick Vieira has 14 days to respond to the charge.'
On the bright side - at least the word is out. Arsene Wenger did plead earlier in the day for them to reveal their decision, if only to put an end to the doubt.
