Arsene Wenger has issued an official statement saying that he 'cannot accept the FA's stance' in charging Patrick Vieira with misconduct after the Leeds game.
'I do not believe that The Football Association has made the right decision,' he continues. 'I am very surprised that they have said that the referee saw neither incident, as it is evident that he was well positioned in each case.
'I also note that the FA has acted on advice from the video panel and not the referee. I would be very interested to know what Dermot Gallagher's recommendations on the incidents are.'
Arseweb expects the FA to consider Wenger's comments with objectivity, reason and common sense. And then to smack him with another misconduct charge to boot. |
