There's an interesting interview with Arsenal skipper Tony Adams on the liv4now site.
Amongst other things, Tony talks about the captaincies of both Arsenal and England.
In response to the question "Who will be the next Arsenal skipper?", Tony replies "I'm already trying to mould Patrick Vieira into my role" and goes on to say "he's Arsenal through-and-through". Coming from Adams, this really means something.
Tony also reveals his disappointment at not having skippered England more times. Yes Tone: you, me, Joe Strummer (see celebrity gooners page, under the heading "not gooners"), and half the country feel that way. As far as his international future is concerned, he says he's concentrating on getting his fitness back and turning out for Arsenal. That's what we like to hear.
