Tony Adams has signed a new 1-year contract. What with
Grimandi also committing himself for another year, and the
emergence of Stepanovs (and good form of Luzhny when called
upon), next year's defence may not look too different from this
season's after all. Lee Dixon has said he's very likely to sign up too. It's that or retirement for the loyal evergreen defender.
Adams appears to have scotched rumours that he asked for a
coaching role at the club saying, "as far as I'm concerned, I'm still just a player." But it seems unlikely that he'd have to asks Arsenal to keep him on for life. Surely it's just gonna happen?
