Ashley Cole is recovering from his ankle injury and now looks a good bet to start against Spartak. According to reports,
Arsène Wenger had not yet been able to get through to the Brasilian FA to ask for Silvinho back, so this is very good

Cole was omitted from today's training session as a precaution,
together with Adams and Dixon.
But hattrick man Sylvain Wiltord is now a major doubt as he has an ear infection.
