Young Arsenal and England U21 defender Matthew Upson had a miserable night for Crystal Palace Tuesday. After joining the Selhurst Park outfit on loan, Upson starred in both Birmingham's goals as the Worthington Cup runners-up got a valuable away win in London. Just after the break, Upson deflected a shot past his own goalkeeper, then later in the second half his lack of marking let Dele Adebola score after picking himself up from the ground in the Palace area. Not the best of applications for a regular starting place for Arsenal... |
