Vieira is expected to return to London in the middle of next week. We could speculate all day about what this means. Does a decision made before Arsenal have had a chance to act in the transfer market suggest he's saying he's staying? or does it imply the opposite? Has he been talking to Wenger at all while they';ve both been in Japan? Is there any reason at all to stop believing his oft-repeated assertion that he wants to stay at Highbury? Or Arsenal's that they won't sell him (given which, the only decision he could possibly make unilaterally would be to stay).
