But it does state that Vieira will confirm on Monday that he is to remain at Arsenal - even though he fully intends to leave at the end of the coming season. Ominously, it does appear to source the story to the infamous Marc Roger.

They seem to reckon he will sign a new contract, taking him through to 2006 - but it's a contract he has no intention of seeing out, despite what he will tell the media. They also suggest Real won't be giving up the hunt just yet.
