Arsenal and England defender Ashley Cole is sad to see his main competitor Silvinho leave Arsenal.

"He was a great player, and it’s not nice to see him go because it’s a squad game now," Cole tells the Times.

The 20-year-old is expected to start for England in the friendly international against the Netherlands tomorrow. Less competition on club level means that Cole gets more chances to establish himself for England. "... It’s good for me and maybe I’ll get some more games," Cole admits.
