Arsenal have been dealt a huge but not entirely unexpected
blow, with the news that Tony Adams will now not be back for
another 2 weeks.
We had been expecting to see him tomorrow, following reports that he almost made the Fulham game on Saturday. But according
to The Standard he has definitely been ruled out of Saturday's game against Bolton,
as well as the Schalke match, and will very probably miss next week's European game and the following weekend.
A scan has revealed continuing inflammation around a bone in
his right foot.
It's a blow for tomorrow because we've already lost Cole. And
on Saturday Keown is banned so Campbell will have to be partnered
by Grimandi (or Upson?).
See match preview
for more Schalke team news. |
