Tony Adams has had an operation on a stress fracture in his right foot, and could be out of action for another 6 weeks.
The last match he played was the 1-1 Premiership draw with Bolton.
We are still short of cover for Lauren, with Lee Dixon needing
around 9 weeks more rest following a cartilage operation. But at least
Sol Campbell should be back from his hamstring trouble soon
(having taken part in full training for the first time yesterday),
and Matthew Upson's form has been encouraging in the last couple of games.
