The imminent departure of goalkeeping coach Bob Wilson leaves a vacancy on the coaching staff at Highbury - which, according to the Evening Standard, David Seaman seems very likely to fill.
'I have watched David working with the other goalkeepers and he is a very good teacher,' Arsene is quoted. But... 'We might need a bridge between Bob's retirement and the start of David as goalkeeping coach, but to keep him here is definitely something I have in mind.'
Wenger, meanwhile, has been impressed by Richard Wright's performances in Seaman's recent absence. 'We have bought well with him,' says Arsene. 'His decisions always seem to be the right ones.' |
