England and Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman will play on for at least another year or two, according to manager Arsčne Wenger. 38-year-old Seaman has faced hard competition from summer signing Richard Wright, but will still be offered a new two-year deal. Seaman, who has been capped 60 times, is still first choice for England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson, and Wenger knows it. "I think David can carry on playing for one or possibly two more years after the end of this season," Wenger told the Mirror. "We want to keep him as a player and we'll then talk about his
future as a coach." |
