It sounds like Thierry Henry's chances of making the
North London derby on Saturday are very slim.
He's been receiving treatment on the ankle injury which
forced his withdrawal from the French trip to Oz, but is
still in too much pain to kick a ball.
He could be out for a few games, so it looks like Kanu
and Wiltord will face Deportivo next week. We'd expect Bergkamp
to play at White Hart Lane though.
Freddie Ljungberg is also still having trouble with his
shoulder injury and is a doubt for Saturday.
See preview page for more.
We have a vague hope that Henry's injury might not be so bad as is
being made out. It's being said that he spotted using crutches after the Charlton game. But there was no sign of them at the players' bar after that game. |
