Reserve midfielder Stephen Hughes has, according to
a Soccernet story, made it clear to manager Arsene
Wenger that he is unhappy with his lack of first team
opportunitites.
Hughes is said to have confronted Wenger directly after the
FA Cup win at Wolverhampton, furious after not being picked
to replace the suspended Patrick Vieira. Remi Garde started
the game in midfield, while Hughes came on as a substitute for
the last few minutes.
Soccernet describes Hughes' attitude as a "play-me-or-sell-me
stance".
PS There are some unsubstantiated rumours about Juventus' Dutch
midfielder Edgar Davids in Soccernet's story as well.
