Tony Adams is playing football again, managing 45 minutes in a 3-1 victory over Peterborough, in a 'behind closed doors' friendly. Also on the comeback trail: Freddie Ljungberg, Richard Wright and Francis Jeffers all took part, and are thought to have come through unscathed. Full marks to Jermaine Pennant who got all three goals - we hope Santa is good to him next week. |
