The question of whether or not Stuart Taylor's error
against Liverpool would lead to the reinstatement of
Richard Wright has been answered.
Or, rather, it's been bypassed. Taylor has suffered an
injury in training (trying to save an Ashley Cole shot,
the Arsenal.com story
doesn;t say if he kept it out). Taylor has a fractured finger,
which will be a huge blow to the youngster because by the time
he's back in contention David Seaman could be too (the England keeper is apparently looking sharp in training, presumably he
has full movement in his shoulder now).
Richard Wright will therefore play against Leeds on Sunday.
Other team news: Kanu and Lauren are of course in Africa
(word is that Kanu has a good chance of making Nigeria's opener
despite the knee problem which saw him leave the pitch against Liverpool). So Bergkamp must be favourite to start up fron alongside Henry, and Luzhny could continue at right back. The moose is thought to be ok despite having to be subbed by Lee Dixon against the scousers, but if there's any doubt Lee will probably start.
Van Bronckhorst, Parlour, and Cole are all back from suspensions.
Probable team:
Wright;
Luzhny/Dixon Keown Campbell Cole
Ljungberg Vieira Parlour Pires
Henry Bergkamp
