Japan and Arsenal midfielder Junichi Inamoto may be set to leave the club, if the latest comments from manager Arsène Wenger are reported correctly.

"Inamoto is coming close to becoming a top player but there are too many rivals in the same position," Wenger is quoted in the Japanese press.

The 22-year-old still insists that moving to England and Europe a year ago hasn't been a mistake.
