Junichi Inamoto has been told that his Arsenal career is over. Japanese TV station TBS reports that Inamoto has met with manager Arsène Wenger in Japan, and that they've agreed that his Arsenal career is over. Inamoto has spent one season at Arsenal, making only League Cup and Champions League appearances. His registration is still held by Gamba Osaka of the J-League, according to Reuters. Inamoto was transferred to Arsenal for one season, but Wenger declined to take up on the option to buy him permanently. The 22-year-old won't lack offers after impressing for Japan in the World Cup. |
