New Nigerian striker Kanu played his first game in
an Arsenal shirt on Monday, as the reserves drew 0-0 with
Brighton.
However, according to Soccernet, Kanu has told manager
Arsene Wenger
that he may need some time to adjust to the
pace and style of
Premiership football.
Kanu also reveals that he used to watch Arsenal on television
when he played in the Netherlands and Italy, and that he even
bought an Arsenal shirt!
