Robert Pires will continue to train alone as he recovers from knee surgery. According to Sky Sports, a brief reunion with his Arsenal team-mates proved too emotional!

Pires is due to return to action in October, but isn't ready to play in practice matches yet. The French international, whose injury kept him out of the World Cup, will continue to train alone in the south of France, rather than watch his teammates train at London Colney without him.
