The FA have announced that Patrick Vieira is
to face a disciplinary hearing tomorrow.
The hearing relates to an incident during the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge back at the start of September. Ref Andy D'Urso
accused Paddy of "threatening with abusive and/or insulting behaviour".
D'Urso's stats could be interpreted as suggesting that he
picks on the Arsenal captain.
For example, in the five Arsenal games he has refereed since November 2000 in which
Vieira has played, D'Urso has sent Paddy off twice for two bookable offences
and shown him one further yellow card.
See if you can guess how many fouls in total Vieira was penalised for in the course of the 3 games in which he
collected those 5 bookings.
Yep. 5 fouls. 5 yellow cards.
We would venture to suggest that this is evidence of a particularly vicious nature on the part of at least one of
the 2 parties involved. The choice is yours.
