The FA have also confirmed that Ashley Cole has been charged with insulting and/or abusive behaviour, a charge relating to a post-match incident involving referee Paul Durkin. Maybe I spoke too soon. According to the Standard, Cole is likely to plead guilt and express regret, throwing himself on their mercy and hoping that his good record to date will get him off with a warning.

The article also quotes JLlyod Samuel as saying that the Moose should have been sent off on Saturday. That's a bit harsh. While Oleg possibly did deserve a second booking for a foul committed on Samuel not long after his first, that first booking was outrageous.
