Good news for Arsenal today as 3 injury victims played in
a specially-arranged match against Millwall at the Gunners'
London Colney training ground.
Ray Parlour (hamstring) played for the first time since the end of September,
Lauren (ankle) for the first time since the beginning of November, and
Kanu (knee) for about the same length of time.
The latter was the main man, scoring twice and setting up the
third for Franny Jeffers in a 3-0 win.
All 3 of them lasted the full 90 minutes. Lauren is the most likely of the 3 to feature against Man Utd on Saturday, but
given Luzhny's good form, perhaps Lauren will be given a bit longer to get ready. We've got a much easier game the following weekend, after all.
Martin Keown will be used on Saturday though, given Campbell's suspension, and Keown got a useful run-out in the Millwall game too.
