David Seaman's injury last night looks likely to keep him out of
the next 2 matches. That would mean that Stuart Taylor is going to have to play in Amsterdam next week. Seaman was feeling stuffness in his hip before the game but was not at fault for the goal and battled through to half time before being replaced by Taylor.
New signing Willy Warmuz is ineligible for the Champions League. Perhaps he'll be given his debut at Manchester City on Saturday, but we think that is in doubt too. On the radio commentary last night, Bob Wilson revealed that Warmuz also suffered an injury this week, in Monday's reserve win over "Wimbledon".
Without Warmuz, there's only young Craig Holloway. Wilson joked that at this rate he might end up having to play again himself. We think it more likely that Arsenal might be forced to recall Graham Stack from Beveren (although we don't know if that's even possible).
Martin Keown missed the Ajax game having woken up Tuesday morning with a back problem. He is a major doubt for the trip to Manchester City too.
