Six Arsenal players past and present have been named in the Premier League's
domestic and overseas Teams of the Decade. Almost three quarter of a million
voters chose their favourite players from the first 10 years of the Premiership
and the Gunners rated highly with Tony Adams and David Seaman
in the domestic XI and Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, Patrick
Vieira and Freddie Ljungberg in the overseas line-up.
Domestic Team:
David Seaman
Gary Neville
Stuart Pearce
Tony Adams
Steve Bruce
David Beckham
Ryan Giggs
Paul Scholes
Paul Ince
Alan Shearer
Michael Owen
Overseas Team:
Peter Schmeichel
Dan Petrescu
Denis Irwin
Marcel Desailly
Jaap Stam
Fredrik Ljungberg
Robert Pires
Patrick Vieira
Roy Keane
Eric Cantona
Thierry Henry
Gary Neville? Lee Dixon, more like! And there's no space for either Ashley Cole or Dennis Bergkamp?
