Arsenal have confirmed that they are to appeal against Sol Campbell's red card last night. Arsene Wenger says, "I have seen it again on the video and it was obviously accidental.... a 4 game ban would be very unjust."

Arsenal also confirm that Vieira will be out for the next 2 weeks at least. Wengers says, "His knee is not as bad as we first thought but the doctors have advised him to take a complete rest for two weeks because his knee is inflamed."

So if we're lucky Paddy will be back in time for the Leeds game which ill be the first of Sol's suspension. And if we're really lucky the suspension will be overturned (or reduced).
