From Hamstead & Highgate Express.
Even if David Seaman leaves Highbury, Stuart Taylor expects to be the second choice goalkeeper behind a new number 1 keeper. "If David decides not to play next year, I would say the club would definitely decide to buy a new No 1. They’re always going to need a big name keeper. But it’s the price you pay of being at a big club.”
He is not giving up hope of one day being Arsenal number 1 however, and Wenger himself has said that Stuart is the future number 1 at Arsenal.
His performances this season have been impressive, particularly at Man City away when Arsenal won 5-1, with Taylor keeping the Man City strikers at bay. |
