Central defenders Martin Keown and Philippe Senderos are both receiving treatment after injuries sustained in Austria. Neither appeared in the 1-0 win over Besiktas. Keown suffered a groin injury, but still has a chance to be fit for the games in Scotland against Celtic on Saturday and Rangers on Tuesday. Swiss teenager Senderos was hurt as he stretched to tackle Jeremie Aliadiere in training. He'll have a scan on a damaged calf muscle, the Evening Standard reports. Arsenal will rely on Sol Campbell, club captain for the Austria tour, and Pascal Cygan in central defence. Other candidates for the positions are Kolo Touré and Sebastian Svärd, who have played there in pre-season, and Igors Stepanovs, who hasn't. The Latvian has either enjoyed a 'French vacation' after starring in internationals this summer, or he's injured as well.
