After falling awkwardly on his shoulder in the Community Shield game, Fredrik Ljungberg may miss the Premier League opener against Everton.

"It hurt," he told Swedish daily Expressen. "When I kept running, the shoulder creaked and clicked."

The Swedish international may also miss the game against Greece on 20 August.

Ljungberg states once and for all that the rumours about a move to Italy are just... rumours. "I'm staying for at least another season," he tells the paper.
