Dennis signs for another year by Rupe

Arsenal have made another key signing for next season: Dennis Bergkamp and the club have confirmed that he is staying for another year.

Dennis says, "I am so pleased that I will be at Arsenal for another year. Next season will be my 10th with the Club, and that just shows what Arsenal means to me. We have a great squad and team spirit at the Club, which we have proved by winning the Premiership this year. I hope I will be part of another successful campaign for Arsenal next season."

Dennis has had a great season, and his presence can only help the likes of Reyes and van Persie to settle. We have too many terrific players at the club to list them, but of all of them it is Bergkamp who symbolises in the hearts of Arsenal fans the transformation of the club over the last decade. It is certainly fitting that he'll be here long enough to be awarded a testimonial.

It's also being reported that Sol Campbell and Edu are both close to agreeing new long-term deals at the club, while Wiltord, Kanu, and Keown all look likely to be moving on. They are all out-of-contract players who are likely to be looking to play a bit more. In terms of the squad for next year, Keown is the most interesting. Will Cygan be our 3rd choice centre back, will Senderos emerge, or will be looking to replace Martin?
