The latest official injury update for Sunday is that Vieira's ankle has improved a bit more than expected. He's now rated at 50-50 to face Man Utd at Old Trafford.
Ankle problems picked up in Greece by Henry, Edu, and Pires have all improved to the point where they are all said to be fit to play. Yet another ankle injury will keep Clichy out but there is defensive cover available on the other side as Justin Hoyte is ready to return to the first-team bench.
Paddy is said to be
in training but hasn't done any contact work yet. The final decision will be left till Sunday. If the skipper is fit, one suspects that Cesc may be rested to the bench for this one, since 3 games in 8 days may be considered too much for the youngster.
Roy Keane is also a slight doubt for Sunday. He missed United's midweek fixture with a virus. |
