The rumours about Emmanuel Petit leaving Arsenal at
the end of the season gather momentum today.

Petit is quoted in the Mirror as saying: "I've just had
enough and I won't change my mind."

Of the English referees he says: "These people are supposed
to be out there on the pitch to protect skilful players
from bad tackles, not to punish those players every
time they put a foot wrong."
