If you can dig beyond the gushing praise of a poor Spurs victory in a devalued competition in today's Metro freebie newspaper, you'll find a tiny nugget of news about the Champions.
Arsene is now hinting that we will be seeing Nwankwo Kanu in the Arsenal starting line-up. 'I think he will be starting some games now in the closing stages of the season,' says Le Boss, 'and it might be an interesting prospect for those of our players who will be going away for internationals at a time when we are going to be facing two games a week.'
Without wishing to doubt the Great Man, neither England nor France appear to have any international games in April or early May. The only game likely to have a big impact is a Holland-Morocco friendly on Wednesday 28 April; we play Boro the weekend before, and Derby the weekend after. |
