Further to the preview posted earlier, the official site now reports that Tomas Rosicky picked up a groin complaint
against Dinamo Zagreb and will miss tomorrow's match. With Jose Antonio Reyes having a similar complaint, this has resulted in Freddie Ljungberg being drafted back into the squad a game or 2 arlier than planned. This suggests that he's not all that unfit,
but was just being rested for Wednesday's return leg against Dinamo.
Another possibility though is that Freddie will just be on the bench, with Matthieu Flamini brought into midfield,
either alongside Gilberto (with Cesc Fabregas pushed to the wing) or on the wing himself.
Neither Rosicky or Reyes will be available for the Champs League game (although chances are that Wenger would have avoided
making Reyes cup-tied before the close of the transfer window). |
