Reuters reports today that Tony Adams have had surgery,
and faces a long layoff. He's currently resting in Florida
after an operation on his back. Adams won't be ready for
first team football again until February, Reuters suggest.

Adams' father has suffered a heart attack in the past week,
but Reuters doesn't mention his condition apart from Tony
stating that he's "been looking after him".

Sporting Life carries a story where our man admits that
he may have to retire.
