Tony Adams has dropped out of England's imminent World
Cup qualifiers vs Sweden and Bulgaria, to give his back problem
a rest. See Soccernet.
Keegan has already said that Martin Keown has done well
enough in recent games to be the first choice defender. It
seems strange that after another extraordinary season, this
really could be the end of Tony's international career.
