French midfielder Emmanuel Petit has, according to this Sporting Life story pledged his future to Arsenal, despite earlier threats about quitting English football.
"I got 5,000 letters begging me not to go," Manu says. "People stopped me in the street, and my team mates and my club bosses were all very supportive."
